Neuro-Allies in Therapy:
Non-Autistic Clinicians Working with Neurodivergent Clients

(3.0 CEs available for psychologists to purchase separately)

This presentation will transform how therapists understand and work with their autistic clients. Drawing on lived experience, research, and best practices, Monica Werner and Kat Sharpe will introduce new methods to support the development of an authentic understanding of the autistic developmental experience. They will address the challenges of living in a neurotypical—and often rigid—society and offer approaches and tools to help clients become strong, proud, and successful self-advocates.

Here are just a few reviews from clinicians who have seen this presentation:

This webinar was exceptional. Monica and Kat’s in-depth discussions of Autistic culture, assimilative masking vs. integrative masking, and the journey to developing a sense of self were invaluable to my work with Autistic clients. I highly recommend this workshop!” — Maria Zimmitti, psychologist

This presentation was absolutely amazing! I really loved it on so many levels. The visuals were incredibly helpful in better understanding an Autistic individual's perspective and what clinicians can do to help their clients at all different life stages.” — Christy Donley, licensed clinical professional counselor
