Anxiety and School Avoidance
in the Context of Autism

Join me as I welcome one of the best speakers I've ever seen regarding anxiety! Dr. Dalton delves into evidence-based, yet often counterintuitive, approaches for treating anxiety and school avoidance in autistic individuals, highlighting the crucial distinction between anxiety and dread and how this understanding shapes effective intervention. Attendees will learn how to thoughtfully balance accommodations for sensory and other needs with proven anxiety treatment strategies, and will gain insight into the unique challenges autistic people face when navigating uncertainty— equipping clinicians with practical tools to improve outcomes for this population.

This webinar is designed for clinicians — of all types, at all levels — but can be viewed by non-clinicians as well.

Psychologists: 3.0 continuing education credits may be purchased upon course completion for an additional $35.

I offer CE credits in conjunction with The Stixrud Group. The Stixrud Group is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Stixrud Group maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
